If you get an error when trying to add your Channel to TubeAssist, it is usually due to one of two common problems.

1. The first problem is that you are logged into a Google account that is different than the Google account linked to your Channel when you click the 'Allow Access' button. Since the account you are logged into Google with is not the owner of the Channel, it is not allowed to grant access to the Channel. To resolve this issue, do the following:

  a) Go to Google.com.
  b) Log out of the account you are logged into in the upper right corner of the screen.
  c) Log into TubeAssist.com. Click to add your Channel.
  d) When Google asks you to log in, make sure to use the Google account linked to your Channel. (Note: If you are prompted with multiple choices because you have a Google+ account, Google+ page, etc. please try each of the choices until you have success).
  e) The rest of the process should complete successfully.

2. If that doesn't work, the other common error is that the Google account you are using does not have a YouTube Channel. To fix this issue:

  a) Log into YouTube.
  b) Upload a video. This causes your Channel to be created.
  c) Log into TubeAssist and try to link your Channel again.

If neither of these steps resolve your issue, or if you have any other questions, please let us know.
