Hopefully you'll know soon enough as you see an increase in views on your channel and videos, but you can actually go check yourself. Verifying that comments are being sent is tought since YouTube doesn't have a place to show comments you've left on other videos, but it is still not too difficult. To verify comments are going out, please follow these steps:


1. Go to YouTube.com.


2. Perform a search on YouTube entering the same Search Phrase you are using in your campaign.


3. Look through the videos returned by your search one at a time for your comment. Make sure to sort comments by "Newest First" to make it easier to find your comment.


There are a handful of reasons why your comment may not be on a video or two, but for the most part you should be able to find your comments. If you can't see any of your comments, there is a good chance they are being ghosted. This is where YouTube emails the video owner about the comment like normal, but doesn't actually show the comment on the video.

If you think your comments are being ghosted, the best way to fix this is to make sure you use multiple messages on your Comment on Video and Share Video or Playlist campaigns. To set up multiple messages, click on the 'Create Multiple Messages' link when on the add or edit campaign screen. The screen that pops up will have more instructions on how to quickly add variations to your message.
